At my first meet up playing bowling. Im a little queit but ill warm up eventually. I was wondering if you and a few friends (idk if I can make a meetup) would like to go see rainbow rocks when it comes out with me?

Awesome, did you have a good time? I am cutting back slightly on meetups because I have a huge cosplay to finish by November and not a whole lot of free time to do it. I was totally jealous of everyone who went though because it's always so much fun. You said you were in Stratford, right? I think they're showing it in Trumbull. There are only a handful of us that live down that way but I can ask around.

I enjoyed my first meet up. That is understandable. Because of this meet up I now would like to join the others in the power ponies cosplay group. I volunteered to be humdrum. So now I have 3 cosplays I would like to get made by march

Glad you had a good time! I saw one of the pics with you and Gerard--too freakin funny! And the Bronycon cosplay technically doesn't need to be done until August, right? I was able to do Trixie in a month so I think we have quite a bit of lead time! I probably won't be going to the meetup in RI, too far for just a movie. Clint from the MA Bronies just suggested a meetup on the site for a showing in Hartford (should be on the 'suggested' tab of the meetups list), so there's that. I'd be willing to go down to Norwalk, but likely not farther than that, my car is in terrible shape so I can really only justify travelling long distances for meetups if they're all day or overnight meets xD
I'm working right now on the night elf warrior cosplay for Blizzcon, which is the weekend of Nov. 7th, but I need it done by mid-October so that I can ship it out there before I arrive.

When I do cosplay I try to have it done months in advance. Makes me feel more relaxed as the con approaches. I hope so, I really liked your hat btw. How long did that take you? If the pe rson I have in mind pulls this off it should take however long she has free time. Yea hartford sounds much better. Norwalk sounds good too, I like how all these meetups are close like that. I jumped the gun on ri but I wil check em out. And by ship It out you mean ship it to the con before you yourself go??? Oh btw feel free to send a note, I am unable to at the moment for some reason

Awesome! Hope to see you at other events, too! Everyone is very chill, and non-theme/convention meetups are very light on the ponydom, everyone's just there to hang out and meet new people.

Oh yeah! I started a thread on the BronyCon forum (community.bronycon.org) where people can ask for pics of themselves if they know pics were taken, and there's another thread on there where people are posting albums of photos that they took. I know my friend Wheelz567 has some albums up on his DA of photos he took, too (with his reeeeally nice camera).
I'm in the same boat where I took ONE pic of myself with my own camera and the rest I've been hunting down on the interwebs. Apparently there was a vendor booth that was doing photoshoots for cheap that I somehow TOTALLY MISSED. Argh!

I think you mean the one where the guy was dressed as Photo Finish? I didn't inquire into it cause I was broke to begin with. Though I know Fashion Angels did free photos with the Rainbow Ponies cutouts, though I never got one.
