xD Well, I think that's the appeal. He's totally changed since he was Elk, and the effects Mia- and what he went through back then- had on him are totally apparent now. It shows in his personality. I don't know, I like the depth he has to him now based on the events from his past. I probably wouldn't like him as much if he was the same old Elk, it's been years since then after all.

But Haseo is amazing too, don't get me wrong. I like both them kids. Haseo's snarky personality holds its own special place in my heart. It's just beaten by Endrance in the end.

you're joking right? GIMME THE RAMBLE! ^.^ It's hard to find other fans of ".hack//"! For me with Endrance, I think it's just because I didn't really like Elk to begin with.... I mean, don't get me wrong, he's a useful Wavemaster and one of my most used, but I think it's just the fact that he's the tag along kind of guy that annoys me.... Normally I'd find it adorable, but I think he puts himself down too much and because he hates Kite because Mia's all over him, that just annoys me. I mean.... get over it kid. She's not your property weather she's data or not. I just don't like possessive people like that. It's great that you like her alot, but she's free to do as she pleases, ya know? Sorry if I'm getting off on one of your favorite characters.

As for Haseo's personality, I think it fits him. I mean, I love that soft, sweet, and kind side to him too, like when he's around Shino.... But that stuck up attitude, I can see that in him. Not because he used to be Sora, but because that's how he comes off as. That's what I thought before I even knew that he was Sora. Endrance I didn't like because of how stupid he sounds when he talks to Haseo after the Holy Palace tournament. I dunno.... But if I had to chose between being stuck with Endrance and Piros, I'd pick Endrance.... OMFG I can't stand Piros! Neither in the .hack//Games or .hack//G.U.!!! -screams at the top of her lungs- I hit mute everytime I partied with him if I had to! I hit mute whenever he talked! I can't stand the guy! He's worse then any villan! I like Ovan alot more then I like Piros! Piros is on the bottom of my list for liked .hack// characters!

Hey it's cool, Elk/Endrance has always been my favorite, and I know other people don't feel the same. xD My best friend thinks Endrance is a creeper, so I hear it all the time. I'm not one for possessive people either, but the way Elk and Endrance play it... I don't know, it hits me right. Seeing as he's coming off as a guy who has no friends because he has trouble connecting with people, and Mia was the only one in his life he was able to connect with... Iiii can forgive the behavior. In anyone else, I think it's annoying, but for Elk and Endrance, it didn't seem so bad. Not to mention that, after Haseo gives him some tough love, he starts to get over those issues. Maybe not completely, and he's definitely obsessed with Haseo like he was with Mia, but you can see a change in him at least. That's how I see it, anyway.

Haseo just comes off as a total badass, but those sweet sides he shows are what make me love the kid, too. I like how it gradually comes as he goes through the games, since it shows he's developing character. His tough love is the best though, since it just adds to him being a badass who can say what he wants but be sincere about it if he wants.
Awww, I love Piros. > u >;;; He's overbearing but still kind of cuddly in a heroically dumb sort of way. Like a puppy. If I wasn't so in love with Endrance and Bo I'd party with him more. The character I can't stand is Atoli, it takes her soooo long to get over her dependency issues and even when she seems to be learning to stand on her own feet, she still uses Haseo as a crutch. It's too needy for me. She's also pretty damn annoying, and I hate the fact she's the only option for a healer. It's probably the main reason she pisses me off, because I'm forced to use her if I want a good healer. I also don't like martyr characters that much... or female characters in general. I'm really picky about my females.

@ u @ It's all good, I feel like this is going to be long no matter what. I like talking about this game too, and I don't get to often. The only other person I know who's played it is more of a "I beat it in one hour on mega hard mode" guy than a "the story was great and these characters are awesome because..." guy.
