# About me

Long time photographer--both for police forensics and art. Have a tremendous library of stock photos to share. Have lately discovered 3D CGI work and the power of textures in rendering.
A lot of people seem to feel that a picture taken of a place or a time should be copyright protected, and yes, I guess I can see this to some degree. I guess my problem with this is, a place and time of day is completely open source--in the case of buildings, does not the architect own all the rights to images of the building he designed and created? Can you truly copyright the photographed image of another person's work and call it your own? Hmmm. The ground is getting pretty shaky here.
Here is my take. I love taking and having pictures I have photographed. It is fun. It is not work, though I have spent considerable time hunting for images and textures. A picture is like a moment of time locked into place forever. Can I claim rights over that? No. How silly and stupid.
So, all the pictures and textures I post here are now officially open source! Use them as you see fit. If you can make a little money off them--you go! If you want to share your work with me, give me a link. Seems like fun, seeing how others are doing, but it isn't essential.
Also, I HATE censorship of any kind. So you may use my images in ANY way you wish. How's that for fun?!?

You can actually Google Madam Sherie in New Hampshire USA, and you'll get quite a bit of the history of this very interesting woman. Also there are pictures of her 'house' with the stone stairs actually intact and in use.
