Not for awhile, I'm sad to say. 
My boyfriend,Josh, and I will be taking a road trip to Charlotte, North Carolina in June to attend Heroes Con, but otherwise I won't be visiting the East Coast again until MegaCon in Orlando next year.

Hey, thats great! I know your engaged too, so whens the wedding? Or did you already do the nuptuials?
Things are going ok....Work in a call center during the day and at an After School Art Program in the afternoon which is...hectic, but a whole lot more fulfilling then getting yelled at for 9 dollars a day as comcast tech support.
Right now I'm working on applying to college(Namely scad) again though and might be moving to Hawaii for a few months before hand to live with my brother. Getting to that point where I'm bored with my surroundings and really need to escape it all and do something different.
So how's college? What did you end majoring in, btw?

:joy:the wedding is june 13th 2011. Well I was majoring in Studio Arts under William Otrempsky(awsome!) but I withdrew for the semestre to work. We just moved into our apartment and we need moneys. But when I go back next semestre I'm changing my major to buisiness and i'll minor in phsychology. So youve been working this whole time since harrison?

Pretty good. I've been walking around in a daze all this last week though. lol
Friday before last I finished a 44page graphic novella/handout for Harvard Business School in about a month and that left me a but burnout. Haven't even really been update my art blog(rachaelsimmons.com), so right now I'm trying to hurry up and get back into the swing of things since I have another deadline coming up and a few textbook pitches to work on if I want to keep continual work. I've been working with other artists in "Robot Cowboy Studios" these last few months, though, and that seems to do alot for productivity so I should be back up on my feet soon here.
I've also had to move back into my Moms house again, due to my last roommate bailing out on me, but hopefully I'll be able to move back out again in August. After living on my own for over eight months,I really miss having that freedom. : P But I need to focus on getting a new car and a new computer first. I've really been lusting over getting an Modbook. They're so pretty! I wantz.
Other than that....not much. I've been stuck in Lubbock a little to long. Hopefully here soon I'll be able to take a roadtrip somewhere.
So how have things been going for you? How are you enjoying having your own place? Any luck finding a job? I know right now the job market in Florida isn't great, but I hope you've had better luck!

Lol, nope no luck on the job thingy. It's ridiculous here. Ive been doing yard work and homework for gas and grocery money. But Im not givin up yet!
Otherwise Im happier than ive ever been. Just kinda tired of Florida. Gwen and I have been hangin out since she came home for the summer, but I havnt spoken to anybody else in a while. James had a party a while back but that's it.
Oh yeah! Ima meet my dad for the first time ever this summer!!! I think Ill have my friend Alec pretend hes me, that way my dad will think hes got a gay black man for a son

I couldn't believe what I read about what he's been doing at Harrison. It just sort of makes me sick.
