Hey everyone! I'm Rebekah, AKA Morgan1Yam, you can call me Bex. I work in an art gallery and at a Movie theater, so I'm a pretty busy gal, especially what with me going into uni soon.I'm a huge fan of almost anything anime, so tell me if you see something good! But, I also am really into a lot of other things, like transformers and much much more!
I'm a bit of a gamer and am currently hooked on "Monster hunter Tri" and "Just dance". Tell me if you like either, or just like gaming, we can chat and chill!
Ah... Along with all of that, I read excessively, both Novles, Fanfiction, AND Manga... I'm almost always reading.
I live in Canada, NOT THE STATES. Many people seem to think I do though... hmm. I live In Alberta to be specific, but that's all you get unless I meet you in person.
Sorry if I don't draw as often as you'd like, but it's a hobby, not a life style.

Um, I'm a new artist On deviant art and is new with drawing Tablets. Do you have any advice about colorin or programs I can use?

Okay! Welcome to DA for starters! It's good to meet fresh artists!
Now... about coloring programs, I use photo shop cs5 extended edition, which can be really expensive to buy (note the fact that I didn't say how much I bought it for) I've also heard really good things about a program called corel painter.
But really, you can use ANY program to draw. There is a website that you can use as well... unfortunately I can't remember what it is called off the top of my head, I know it starts with a T is that helps haha!
How you color depends on what program you choose. I can recommend looking on DA for tutorials FOR that program once you have it. The DA community is really handy and many artists are not afraid to give you helpful tips and tutorials!
I can tell you that if you look in my Favorites, I have an entire section dedicated to tutorials that I find really handy and instructive if you wish to check those out.

Um, It's a Bamboo Tablet. I'm not sire I we had gotten it online or at the store, because the selection at the stores where I live are only so big.

Ah, the bamboo tablet! Excellent choice if I do say so myself. I find my bamboo really reliable, it's a very good piece of hardware that's for sure!
Totally hear where your coming from about selection though. I had to go into a different city to get mine. Ther is barely any selection here.

Well technically here, tree is only 1 city. I live in Okinawa Japan at the moment. And the Bamboo is a good choice? Nice. My cousin told me I'm good for beginners on a tablet, but I still find it all difficult.

Ah, it's always hard when you start out! You just have to get used to the controls of the bamboo. I like it because it actually feels like I am holding a pen. Which type of bamboo do you have? I actually hold one of their older models, I am not sure if they even make it anymore.

Oh! What is Okinawa like? I've always wanted to go to Japan, but I don't really know much Japanese, and I have heard that plane tickets are expensive.

I don't really know which Bamboo Modle I have actually. I was forced to throw out the box, and It doesn't say on my Tablet. Sorry.:/
Oh, and I'm here in okinawa due to my dad in the marine's and stuffs. And It's pretty nice here. I don't ever want to leave. I feel myself here. Plus, I wanna learn Japanese. It doesn't help the fact that i sit at the table at lunch that all my friends are talking in japanese.

W-wao! Well, I'm honored you'd ask ahaha! Hmm... I can't really give you any pro tips to be honest, But I can give you some tutorials I hound on DA that I found help me when I started coloring/ wanted to learn more about it.

People all color differently, I suggest looking up your own tutorials on DA and picking out your favorites.
I will tell you that Layers are your BEST friend, and that you can shade with more than just grey colors. When ever you start a new color or section, always make a new layer.

Yeah, haha! It all came together very oddly actually. I was gonna be Rebecca, but mom was sharing baby names with another pregnant woman, and her baby was born first. The lady stole the normal spelling of it, so mom decided to be original, haha!
