Aloha! <3I'm Murmeltierchen (little marmot) but I'm usually called Shiva or Chris.
I started cosplaying in autmun 2004 and ever since then I've been a passionate cosplayer.
I don't really have a specialty, I simply enjoy making all kinds of artisan crafts, be it sewing, making jewelry and small accessorys of huge props aswell as later presenting my work online and at conventions and trying to act in character.
I've made 30 costumes so far though some of them didn't find their way online.

Hi Chris- Enjoyed checking out your DeviantArt and FaceBook pages and glad to see that you have worked with WONDERFLEX & FOSSHAPE materials..... as I'm from the development and manufacturing side of both. We are currently working on a potentlal new additional WONDERFLEX material, much thicker, without any fabric/scrim and translucent, so it can be back lighted. www.wonderflexworld.com

Oh that depends. Some costumes like Pretear are done in roughly 2-3 days while others like Esther or Tyrande take weeks. During my breaks I am working on Kallen, another one of those 2-3 days-cosplays. But Serah, Talim and Tyrande will take weeks and my major project may take month because it is not only very detailed but also expensive and I will have to work with materials I am not yet familiar with. So I guess there will be a lot of "try & error".

That people notice Pretear and Esther means a lot to me, both were barely noticed on conventions and that made me kinda sad... escpecially Esther was a lot of work.

I'm thrilled to find gems like these cosplays in your gallery! Even as a manga/anime, Pretear isn't that well known, and I for one, haven't seen any Pretear cosplays until I saw your gallery, but they'd blow any other cosplay out of the water! Esther is in fact a lot of work! From all of the various Esther cosplayers that I've seen, they put a lot of time and effort in making the whole outfit and the accessories.

It usually takes me some weeks to make a more complicated costume like Esther or Clow Country Sakura
