I hardly celebrate anything at the end of the year. 
Most people celebrate in festivals. In China, new year's day and Spring Festival are all important festivals,
but actually, every day is a normal day for me. Even I will forget my birthday.
If it wasn't for your message last year, I would also forget my birthday last year. ha ha ha...  

In China, young people just want to find a special day to go shopping or eat delicious food.
In addition to this, there is no special way of celebration. 
So, all the festivals are becoming more and more meaningless for the young people like me. 
Are young people like this in your home country?

Really! Hahaha I also forget even how old I am! In that case I'll be sure to keep reminding you about your birthday!!!
Well I'm a young person as well (for now hahaha), in Costa Rica I think it's similar, most of them don't believe much in anything and they celebrate now and then more for the "party" than for the meaning of the celebration (which are mainly a birthday or something Catholic because we were a Spain colony for some centruries). However, these people generally don't go shopping or eating to a restaurant, they only can think of one way to celebrate, and that is going to a bar (that's so boring for me!!! -_-) so I actually don't celebrate anything at all with anyone other than my family and just for Christmas, New Year and the birthday of my parents and brother. So I guess people are becoming similar regardless of the country ^^
By the way, are you going to celebrate the Chinese New Year?! And when is it going to be this time and what animal haha? Oh and how is your work in the game industry going (so cool!)? ^_^

Today is the Gregorian calendar in January 13, 2017, in China here, now is the lunar calendar in December 16, 2016.
The lunar China nearly a month later than the Gregorian calendar.

Haha yeah, I found it after I spent many days of search in chinese sites, your goverment even banned me from Weibo But I manage to find Sunmomo!   So you also like her, yeah she's like a genius! I'm so jealous you can understand >_< I was focussing on the technique she uses for the skin and the hair, they look really alive But don't worry, thanks so much for trying   I know is really hard and time consuming to translate chinese to english. I'm using a dictionary and more or less understanding the main ideas c:
