You know…I hate farewells
Because you have to leave everyone behind….everyone who you’ve befriended and grown on to...
You can say those dreaded words easily
But everything else is hard…like trying not to break down because it’ll make the one leaving feel guilty
When you sound like a broken record while speaking
And when that sob comes out when their shadow becomes a shadow…
But you know?
This is something I have to get used too…because not everyone is going to stay and that’s a fact
But just because they’re leaving doesn’t mean it has too be a farewell
I remembered the good times we’ve had, the fun we shared, and everything else as well.
Even if I can’t see you again…doesn’t mean it won’t last forever
