I am curious what your biggest pieces are and if you stretch watercolour paper or just use blocks. Even my 2nd college art professor did not know of stretching paper, but if one does, one can paint using almost any size board like even 1.5 m high by whatever length one wants to roll out. If some of your faeries and the featured horse piece are not about the full standard 56x76 cm then you certainly use tiny brushes well. If anyone needs to know about stretching paper, you can msg/comment me.

Hi Nell,

I like the sound of the work you're doing. You must be very happy. Do you get much time to paint and do some of work for yourself?

Yes, I am still living in Adelaide. I am not working as a designer yet, I'm still at Tafe... lol... it never ends! I'm in my second year and have one more to go. I am still fleshing out what I'd like to pursue when I finish the course.

Do you keep in contact with the others from the Design Course and do you know how successful they have been at finding work in their chosen fields?

I am also working in a nursing home and I really enjoy it because the hours are short and the job is not boring. I plan to continue that after I leave Tafe, so whatever design work I do will have to fit in around that.
