Thanks! I`m vectoring `Summer Festival` at the moment, into a wallpaper-type. *sighs* I liked doing drawing by hand for a change, but I can never really stay away from vectors for too long.
And now I`ve been given a design book for my birthday, I can`t wait to do really bold typography-image vectorwork again. Go design.

Oh wow! I can't wait to see that! I always love typography and playing with text.... but rarely do I come up with an excuse to use it.
Heh... yeah I've sorta fallen off sketching by hand. Vectoring is so much... cleaner. Harder to mess up. It is a lot easier to work with shapes instead of with just lines.

*giggles* In an unholy combination of design book inspiration, chocolate cake and coffee late at night, I stayed up last night till two am in my happy vector place. (This is a sort of trance I go into whenever I`m in the right vector mood - I`ll think I`ve spent half an hour, and it`s been three.) So... `Love Letter` is the result. n__n

Ah, it`s complicated... I`m on a tutor exchange, which means tutoring at the sister school of my old NZ high school... they pay me an allowance and for a home family, which is not so bad, but I had to pay my airfares, insurance etc... and I travelled for two weeks by myself before coming to the school. -That- was the expensive bit... went through over a thousand dollars in two weeks. *sighs*
Next year, though, I`ll be starting a BA in Japanese and International Relations, so hopefully I`ll get to study a bit more culture then. I take local classes every week, but really, especially living in a host family, the language and culture is just completely immersed. My language skills have jumped exponentially since I arrived.
