Where do you rp? Tbh, if yall made SFS 2.0 I'd be on there in a milisecond flat. It was top 1 or 2 favorites of mine. I just started again a month ago on Doutaini. I can't believe they are still running after all these years. I almost joined their site a long time ago - and then I stumbled upon Smoke Filled Sky and fell in love.

I roleplay at 'Souls RPG ! It's got that post-apocalyptic flavor SFS, but with anthro werewolves haha. It's been around since 2001 -- I've been there since 2011 I think? Worked my way up to admin. c:

Tbh I like cringe at all the dumb stuff I did back when we ran SFS hahaha. But damned if I don't miss my characters. ;_;

And lol, what cringe? I thought you were great haha. As for my characters, they were never very...developed. I'm having trouble making my current character -not- be so blah

Sorry I didn't get back sooner, I've got so much stuff changing (in a good way) right now. I've been through... a lot. The last 5 years have had events that have equally destroyed me as a person as much as I have grown. However, I am in a safe and stable home with my boyfriend (we're celebrating our 3 year anniversary with a trip to the San Juan Islands next week!) and my depression faded away for the first time since I was a kid, my anxiety and PTSD (both stemming from said events) are very manageable now for the most part. I'm starting school (third attempt...but I'll be damned if I don't get my degree dang it, lol) again, and I just quit my shit-tastic job. Things are very much looking up for me and I'm just grateful that I'm alive and -living- instead of endlessly wallowing.

Anywho, do you still write/roleplay?

Oh nice! I'm on Doutaini . It's a little less fantasy than I'd like (I miss having a store to use your points to buy the occasional weird marking/antlers/companion/whatever) but I really dig the lore and the characters on it. I'm having fun

Btw, I bought a tutorial you posted from forever ago and a couple of tips in there SUPER helped me out the other night. For the first time I was able to blend a couple images together and make it look more natural. So thank you <3

Yeah, I still tend to design really natural-looking characters that have just a few bits of "fantasy" elements to them, but I definitely dig the fantasy vibes. xD

I'm so happy you found it useful! I guess that tutorial in particular is fairly old now, and I've updated my style since then... but most of the basic techniques are still relevant!

Mmkay! No problem, I'm probably not going to get into anything trade wise until I finish my commissions/future raffle until (hopefully) mid July, worst case-scenario end of July/early August, if you end up freeing stuff by then and are interested lmk. Well, just looking at my class schedule for the fall and winter terms, plus the number of commissions and other projects I've taken on, it might actually be well into next year before I feel comfortable to take on other commitments. But I'll let you know.
