The customizewindows group has been shut down well and truly by the founder abishekghosh - no reason given, he has blocked all attempts to reopen it and banned anyone that tries to join. A very strange state of affairs. I think he was only using the DA account to advertise his services. Apologies on my behalf that the group closed.
I am now running the design-addicts group and if you aren't a member already then please do join.

The onset of Windows 8 coincided with the start of the decline of all customising groups in DA. If you go to Google trends and search for deviantart as a term you'll see the whole of Deviantart going into decline a the point of release of the new metro interface and Microsoft's recapture of desktop design. That was all the customisers abandoning cutomisation and leaving DA. A pity but that's the thing.
