# About me

I'm mostly a pencil artist, specializing in portrait work.
I've done some colored pencil, and pastel; learning as I go.
This past year I've really been pushing myself with drumline taking up so much time, I spent many nights at my drafting table till 2 or 3 a.m. improving my skill as well as trying new things like integrating color in my art.
My summer time hobbies: drawing, drumming, enjoying music, reading, or just whatever. I'm going to take my first real art lessons this summer and am going to try painting as well as more pastels.

You've got great drawing skills and I'd love to see more from your gallery.

Some advice I could give is to bring up the contrast in your pictures. Much darker darks, even in the slightest areas can make the whole drawing pop.
