"Colour out of Space" is indeed one of his better ones; the less he explains, the more intense his stories get. I read it only once, but I remember it left me with a really icky feeling.
I like his dreamland stories a lot. Sort of homage he wrote under the impression of Lord Dunsany: early fantasy, almost romantic (except for the usual absence of women in his writing

I am in the wireless business professionally, and its amazing how fast the market, especially the US market has evolved in the past few years.
