Rats are very social animals and are recommended to be kept by pairs so they don't feel alone. Although, I can say that if a rat lives alone, it is strongly tied to the people

poor rat :D (Big Grin) In no case can not leave a cat with a rat, because the cat even during the game can kill it
But this does not prevent me to keep three cats, because they are afraid of rats lol
