i was really tired and too lazy to do another work of art.
so i wrote this.
i call it.
"Sleep on a pinpoint"
i dont know why...
"for some strange reason
i can't seem to sleep
i lay there, not believin'
eyes so tired, i weep.
i can't find whats keepin,
me so goddamned awake.
i stare, blankly into the dark
snapping from my fake reality
corner to corner, my eyes dart
awakened by sounds of the city.
getting up i stumble
switch on my computer,
into livejournal i bumble
typing out my woesome fate,
how delerious i am, i mumble.
all is too quiet
i dont have L.A. guns,
i need to buy it
listening to "happiness runs"
nevermind, its the beatles
"you've got to hide your love away"
to rhyme this would be a feat-les.
but i managed to do it anyway
this is getting dull
im still not tired
but my stomach, is not full
to eat would be inspired
but this late isnt cool
it makes my stomach wired
and i feel im going to hurl.
now queen pulsates to my head
making me wish i was oh so warm
snuggled deep in bed
but thoughts in my head they swarm
how in the hell do you spell snuggle?
with a double "g"?
or could it possibly be
followed by an "e"?
so would "snuggle"then be
"snuggel" moving the e
of course not, silly
oh how will i save this rhyme sheme?
with this long "e" sound killing
my own writing ability
i've lost my time and metering
but this rhyme of e
i shall forever heed
never ending in less than a long wheeeee
look at the great words ending in "e"
you've got exclamations, like yippiee!
and dreadful curses, like ugly banshee!
you've got bored blabs like, "whoopee..."
and then strange things like "nipply"
ahhh fuck it im done."
its wonderful huh!
im gonna submit it to a poetry contest or something.
maybe i'll get second to last instead of dead last, due to my persisten rhyming
