I do live in sac. I'm not sure what crazy bug flew confuses this brain into travelling all the way down to so cal for that con but it still happens.

nice, what got you into doing photography? Sorry, haven't checked out your whole gallery yet but do you do anything other than cosplay photography or do you mainly focus on cosplay?

I feel the same way. It's always a lot of fun though. Plus I get to see friends that I'm usually not able to otherwise. Do you do Sac Anime too?

I don't really remember what got me into photography. I think I saw some really nice infrared photographs a long time ago and wanted to shoot some of my own. But since getting into it, I still haven't done any infrared shots. XD I photograph whatever I can, landscapes, objects, animals... whatever catches my attention really. I usually bring my camera with me everywhere I go. I think I enjoy photographing cosplay the most though, it's just fun.

oooh infrared photos, that sounds awesome. I'm going to motivate you. the next pic you take needs to be infrared. I'll suggest it as a featured art piece if you do it.

Wow, see I wish I took as many pics as I wish I did. I am terrible at taking pics, I often times bring my camera and forget to take pics altogether. curses! I think I need someone like you around to remind me, because I'm helpless by myself.

Sac Anime happens twice a year, in the summer time, usually end of August-ish. And in the winter, I think around the beginning of January. The panels and stuff are usually pretty entertaining. Even if you're not into "dub" voice actors. They always have hilarious anecdotes to share. It's really, really small though, compared to AX. And they usually don't have guests from Japan, though once they did have Mari Ijima.

You should convert your friends. The more the merrier. XD

Hah. I wish. XD To do infrared, I'd have to cough up $450 to convert my camera to take infrared pictures. And if I did that, I wouldn't be able to take normal pictures anymore. Maybe one day when I decide to upgrade.

During Expo, My friend had to nudge me around to take pictures too because I was feeling pretty tired/lazy/timid. XD

oh man, sorry for the incredibly late reply, it was my birthday weekend and I was busy celebrating and meeting up with family. etc.

Well Sac is like 10 min from me so I can't see a reason not to go, honestly. And it's coming up. Are you going? Are we going to crash this party?

Fuck Dub! actually I sometimes watch dub. I sometimes do other things when watching anime, you know, like draw anime. so I need audio (that I can understand) as I watch.

I figured it would be small, some how no sac event is as big as an LA event.

Wow! $450 to do infrared? oh man. These infrared pics better be amazing. Better make me weak in the knees, maybe reach the big O, just slightly. enough to be happy.

I don't really take pics. I'm not much fo a photographer. Done some cosplay, did a photoshoot with a friend. a photoshoot that spelled D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R but I'd love to get into photography. It's hard stuff.
