shes just making that up lol, no bird can change their gender. When they are born, they are what they are, male or female even though their ceres dont change color until they are over a year old

Do you have a nesting box in the cage (or outside) for the budgies? I know some pairs just aren't compatible, I have had one pair for 3 years and they never bred, some males just don't really 'get' it lol You might want to add another male budgie and see if that helps. Or get another pair or possibly a male/female that has bred before.

yes they do have a nesting box. And i think tht might be it XDThey are both the same age, but the male cookie just seems a goof ball at some times Tashi just waits for him to get on, but he just stands there dancing XD thankyou for your help.
