I'm not against people tracing and using the color picker to get colors from photos, but when people use it as a major crutch, instead of a learning tool..or when they claim not to use any of those things and lie, it's not ok.

Seeing people constantly pick every little color to make a photo copy, and photo smudging is a real pet peeve of mine
Course it's fine to use the picker to help guide you just like i thing it's fine to trace some as long as you credit, they are important learning tools for the self taught.

I actually monitor groups and the main page to find art-theft.
Worst part is half of the time the ORIGINAL artist's accountlink/signature can be seen in the photos.
