I'm over my head in work till September. so I doubt there will be time for the project. Gotta get my ship ready for dry dock, and dry dock itself in August. In-between I'm sailing for money "also called a job

It's not going to be easy though, convincing the majority of the people who cling desperately to their petty morals. They are afraid of any change, even if its for the better.

Not with the way movies are depicting it all. I mean is it just me or is bruce willis the bad guy in surrogates (just his end choice that is, imagine the world wide anarchy, planes falling killing millions etc)or arnold schwarzenegger the bad guy in 6th day, if the world had accepted eternal life the scientist wouldn't have had to be so devious to continue his work.

Yeah I liked surrogates, up to the point it became obvious they had to fill the ending with something socially acceptable. Because as you may well be aware, being hooked to a computer is not.
Yeah there are a lot of restrictions posed to scientists all over the world, that's why I would suggest a technocracy. So world leaders would be selected based on skills and knowledge rather then popularity and empty words.
I also believe in the power of companies. instead of a ruling government. for example: working for a company would provide you with the necessary housing/ protection and the likes. I would like to refer to the book "snowcrash" for an example of that.
Also "Ayn rands: Atlas shrugged" for and example of what would happen if the driving people behind the economy and ideas would decide that enough is enough, and pull the plug on their creations.
