Hey Seven, sorry for the late response, I don't check my dA too regularly.
If you've just started drawing, then now's a good time to learn the fundamentals! There are plenty of resources online, but the one I'd recommend the most is "Vilppu". He's a very good teacher, and his lessons helped me greatly with understanding how to draw the way I wanted to.
I know you want to draw anime characters, and you will be able to do that in time! But even anime is based on real-life, so learning that first will help you greatly with drawing anime too!
A lot of it depends on what you're struggling with. Do you find anatomy difficult? Or is it lighting? Posing? Depending on what you are struggling with will change what you should practice.
As for any tips I'd have, I guess the biggest one is to enjoy drawing! This doesn't mean you should always find it easy, it's okay to get frustrated with drawing too! It's when you're struggling that you are learning, because you are attempting something that you currently cannot do.

Thank you for the tips and im learning my fundamentals with loomis and always check his book whenever i needed to, i'll try vilppu too after exams. People always tell me that anime is based on real life and i need to practice fundamentals before i can translate them to anime style. But my biggest problem right now I can't draw faces accurately and precisely. Whenever I draw, the faces are sometimes unrecognizable and i always have a hard time pointing out where did i go wrong, like, im not sure if i made the eyebrows thicker, eyelashes longer, eyes bigger. etc.
I always watch your streams and what makes me curious is how could you draw, for example, love live characters with so much ease and their faces so perfectly and accurately? I couldn't even draw their faces properly without reference because without it, their faces are unrecognizable because it will have longer eyelashes, bigger eyes, etc. Do you still use reference when drawing them during your livestreams? Or did you draw their faces again and again until you memorize it and your hand got used to it? Thanks!

Loomis is perhaps the most commonly recommended resource for learning how to draw, so it's good that you're already learning from him. I personally found Vilppu to be more enjoyable to learn from, as he's very good at explaining and demonstrating things, which allowed me to try it out myself with more ease.
As for the faces, it really depends on what kind of artwork you want to produce. You mentioned Love Live!, and for me that's been a huge influence on how I draw, especially Murota Yuuhei (The character designer for Love Live!). How thick you want the eyebrows, or how large/small you want the eyes all depends on what type of look you're going for. There are a lot of "hidden rules" that artists will follow when they draw characters, and the more you look at and study their artwork, the more you'll discover what these rules are. Knowing what rules you want to follow, and understanding rules that other artists follow all comes with experience, and also meeting and talking to fellow artists!
I think something that helped for me was realizing that there was a difference between "artists I like" and "artists I want to draw like", if that makes any sense. You'll see a lot of artists who you probably really like their artwork, but what you want to keep an eye out for is the artists who make you think "I'd like to draw like that". That's something that's purely based on what your preference and taste is. When you find artists like that, or if you already have artists like that, don't be afraid to try and study their artwork to figure out what makes their art the way it is. Because every artist has a different approach, it can be overwhelming looking at a lot of artists, which is why I suggest picking just a few who you really want to draw like to learn from. This doesn't mean you have to copy exactly what they draw like, but more think about WHAT it is your like about their artwork, and try to incorporate that into your own drawings. Over time you will hopefully end up with something that is a result of all the things you love to draw.
Thank you for watching my streams! In response to your question, for me it was a matter of drawing it a lot before I figured out how I wanted to draw it. Even now I still change the way I draw the characters based on what I'm feeling, so don't worry if what you end up with isn't perfect! As for your follow up question, I draw them without reference now, but that's only because I've drawn them so many times that I have their image in my head always. In the beginning I had to have references of the characters to make sure I was drawing them correctly. It's perfectly fine to use references, I do it all the time if I'm drawing new characters. It's good to make sure you're drawing them accurately, after all!
