Thanks for the fav to Grand Canyon Rainbow - I'm glad you enjoyed it.
You have a really great bird gallery... I was in Peru once but I was always at a very high altitude. Not many birds tho I WAS hoping to see a cock of the rock (no luck) but I did get to see some condors.

You're welcome, thank you also for the kind comment of my gallery. I'm interested to see and appreciate more of your work... By the way, is that you in the photo on your page? I have five tattoos myself, although I've not uploaded anything of myself on dA...
Where were you when in Peru? We have over 400 species in the Cusco region and 1'800 in the country. Cock of the Rock I've seen both the last couple of times I've been near to Machu Picchu, male and female - the photo I uploaded was taken through my hotel window, as he came to display in the morning! Lots of luck needed to find birds!

Yup that's me - I just have the two tattoos but they're original designs by me. I took the photo myself. You should post your ink - everybody loves tattoos!
I was in Cusco, then ventured down by Lago Titicaca, then west to Arequipa and saw the condors in Colca Canyon.
The birds in my part of the world are relatively quiet except during mating season... their food isn't as abundant so they don't have quite so much leisure time as the tropical birds.
