Hi Everyone.I live in Wigan in the North West of England and have a passionate interest in photography with no particular speciality.
A keen interest in aviation led to aircraft photography (see my website www.aircraftphotographs.net - if you are at all interested) which in turn developed into a general interest in photography.

Can I just say "different".
Fantastic buildings,shopping malls etc etc but not pedestrian friendly in any way.
Enjoyed the trip very much but not got a lot of material to put up. Still looking at it all.The shots are "Too touristy for my liking"

Thank you very much. I have been looking at your IOM photographs. I spent many happy school holidays in Port St Mary many years ago. My Uncle used to own Smokey Joes Cafe there before it became a Chinese

I used to go in there for bread and milk in a morning as a kid while we were on holiday.What a small world. The Kellys were good friends of my uncle and aunty. Harold and Betty Humphrey they were called and as I said they had "Smokey Joes" for many years..They had 2 Daughters Christine & Jean who sadly are also no longer with us. They both married local Manx men from the Port, Derek Watterson and John Moore.

Hi Kirsten,
I`m sad to hear about John. I`ve sent him my usual xmas card too a couple of days ago. I was over to his wifes funeral Jean and that was my last visit to the island a few years ago. Do you know when he died.Do you know if Derek is still with us.I am God father to his son but I`ve lost touch with him.
I use a blend of 3 images to get the best exposure values and maintain detail in the highlights and shadows and some HDR if I think the image warrants it
