...maybe had you actually read the accompanying verse, you might understand the quality that the disintegrative effect lends to the image... i suppose the same ol' stock textures that everyone's been using would have made this more suitable for close-minded viewing... i agree, that throwing a filter over an image is cheap - if that's all you do... but when you spend hours on a piece and happen to use a filter or two throughout the process to (in the artist's opinion) enhance a piece, i don't think that's wrong at all... it's not any less original, in my opinion. if you'd like to just assume that "because that looks like she used a filter - she cheated/it's ruined/not art anymore/it's cheap" then you're very welcome to, but singling out pieces of the process seems to allude to the fact that you're probably not looking at the overall picture... I could go arround pointing out filters and "cheats" all day long, but it's not worth my time, nor do I care to muster up the immaturity for it... constructive criticism is one thing, just "trying to look smart" is another.
"digital art" utilizes certain tools of the trade... and, just like in photography, if a desired effect can be achieved through the use of a certain filter, why should one not use it? in this case, the desired effect was to create the dissolvance of an apparition... it's not supposed to look like a polished-model-airbrush.

You're fifteen, not five. You need to consider acting like it.
You probably get some kind of 'kick' out of just generally being nasty to people, but it's not cute, funny, or cool. DeviantArt is a community for serious artists who want to showcase their work and their abilites, and those who want to view and contructively criticise such works and abilites. Until you wise up and start doing just that, you're just wasting space and using up bandwidth.
And since you seem to have so much to say to people, you should really consider submitting some of your own deviations. Or are you afraid people will just start returning the favor (assuming of course, that they'll bother to return to your page)?

Y'know, the only thing *brushes off his formalities* that really gives me the knockabout is the fact that sometimes, when i meet kids my age, I just don't fit at a lot of cases. You're among them. I've seen a lot of shit going on like this one, so i'll just say things similar to last time.
Just to recap shit, people here have told how "messy" y'are with thinking twice before saying something, they tell ya how immature you go, but what's more, you don't even like poetry (to me)!
Now i don't wanna think what you'd do or say to people that do shit that i like including poetry, photography, stories, and of course, drawing, due to several facts that you haven't even had a shot at doing stuff like these, and then you do the inevitable: becoming one stereotypical Mr. Know-it-all!

Well Mr. P.S(I assume you will be looking at this from time to time) Dee is not thirty and does not waste her time and try to find "life" on the net. It has been assumed that you are 15 because you act it.
If you wanted to start shit, and prove your ego to yourself, go find a message board and run rampid on it, and stay away from deviant. I don't think any of us signed up to "shit sling".

you should enroll in some poetry classes at your high school.
There are some very famous and well recognized poems that have written pieces that are a few sentances, or even a few words.
Sorry you've been taught otherwise, but there is no standard format for a poem.

Constructive criticism is one thing but bashing someone for something you dont know for sure... thats something else completely. If I was you, I'd consider trying to rephrase your words when commenting, or your going to just end up ticking off alot of people and noone will want to view your art.
This is an art community, where people meet to learn, sell and share their art. Noone comes here to be belittled and stomped on. Try a little kindness, it will get you alot farther.

I'm sorry to say this, but your first sentences are simply silly.
To blame me, that I would try to heighten my own work is as silly as you being the one to tell me so.
No works up, banned once etc.etc.
I got over 450 people watching me.
I get more faves than it is the avarage at deviantart and get more than 40 comments per piece within a week (at least that is my avarage).
So YOU tell me now, why I would have the need to "raise my own number of comments"?
I think it is only polite to thank within the deviation submitted, because other deviants, comenting on my piece, reading my "thank you" there, will see, that they are NOT writing just like that, but that it is being appreciated.
ALSO if a deviant writes me, I try my best to thank those, who wrote something, or had an idea about. But as I said, usually they aer more than 30-50 deviants answering, so I HARDLY do HAVE the time to thank them all in person, and thos who know me, (and even those who don't) understand and appreciate my "thank you" at least on on the submission itsself.
AND if a member is asking a QUESTION I think that everyone has the right to hear the answer, so answer there, at the deviation, AND over at the deviants own page.
You see, you better think and check the facts of a deviant before blaming him/her for something!
