thanks for the comment. was going to try to create some "fake" depth between the leaves and the branches, and put focus on the leaves.

I've made some attempts at long exposure, but they didn't come out too well. When I get it down, I'll let you know...the only successful ones are the types where everything isn't in motion, like in Revelation.

Thanks for the generous comment on Water Falling At Night ! I'm thrilled that you like it, and truly appreciate that you left a comment.

As far as the time of the exposure, I don't really know. I was shooting in aperture control, 5.6 or 8, I don't really remember that either, and bracketed by adjusting the compensation dial on my old Nikon. Then, I used the self timer to avoid any vibration from myself and then just shooed passersby away from the scene. I think it was something like 10 seconds though. I wasn't less than 5 nor more than 20 though, so that is within a stop. Cheers.

Nah.. I didn't want him to stand to the left or right. I took them too.. but they didn't show up to be as strong as when he stood in the center.

Thank you for the comment on Symbol of Evil . I do agree...some people will dismiss the piece because they are too lazy. As much of deviantART has become lately. But, whatever is what I say. My art is here for anyone that gives the time to view...those that don't can kiss my ass.

Thanks for the comment Ja, a few more seconds would have helped. You'd be surprised how fast that ferry goes! I'm almost surprised there was no motion blur As for the brightness that's about what my eye saw. It was a really dark night there.

Thank you for your comment on my latest photograph. I heard ppl say, i'd prefere it with the head and others without.
before submitting it I had the choise, as this lovely birdy took pleasure in posing. I think both options are alright, there's only more life in this one with the seagull cleaning itself

Hey again, Patrik. Yeah, i tend to do my sepias towards the Matte side - I think mostly because I've done just about all my presentations in matte over the years. Not sure why, but I just do.

The photo is grainy and blurry because my camera is not one of those quality cameras, and my hand doesn't want to hold still when I take pictures... so. yeah.
But thanks for you comment. It kinda nice to see someone having something against that picture. : )
