Same, life has been treating me a lot better too. ;-;
Drama has cooled down between my boyfriend and family. Racism is still strong though. I haven't been on deviantart in so long. Ahh, memories.

It feels so surreal to hear about these issues in this age. Gosh, is it the upbringing or something that's causing them to think that way?

I don't use a website, 
I use programs. 
Paint tool Sai to draw and Photoshop to animate, save the gif. 
There are other programs you could do it through though, doesn't have to be the ones I use.

Ah actually, I've only been active the last 4 - 5 years despite having this account for 8
I'm almost at 2K watchers, but I find that the best people watch me 
everyone is really nice and supportive
So I'm rather happy about having quality watchers instead of quantity o u o 

But in general, DA is a more of a social community 
I've seen many talented artists over looked simply because they didn't participate in the site as much as other people did
