So I was wondering, how did you improve so vastly over the course of two years? Was there any technique, series of lessons, habits, or just vigorous practice that contributed to your improvement for the most part. I feel like I might have already asked this question somewhere, but I can't remember. If I already said this, then please tell me.

No, that's okay! Sorry for my late reply! Basically, my main motive is practice! Practicing is very important, and trying new ideas and your own method of doing things as your style evolves helps a ton! My biggest recommendation for anyone is make sure to have good anatomy and facial shape! This is really important for any artist, because no matter how much you call wonky anatomy your "style" learn to practice it and perfect it before trying something new and creative! For me, I also looked at a lot of artist's pieces, some that are vastly better than me. I look at how they do backgrounds or what are the basic shapes they use for lighting in a situation. This helps me a lot since I love doing creative, extreme lighting so seeing how other artists do it or even how lighting looks irl is very helpful! But overall, just practice, and get yourself motivated to practice. Trust me, for the first few months I got my tablet, I was experimenting on my style like crazy. It would be consistent, then I found a much more enjoyable way to draw and switch to that. Also, draw what you enjoy! Touhou and RPG Horror videos games were something I obsessed over at the start, and that's all I would draw, and I believe that's okay! Also, taking a year or a couple months and redrawing an old piece is a very good tip as well, I do that all the time and seeing my improvement, I motivate myself saying "I improved this much over just this short time, Imagine what my art will look like in a couple of years! At the end of 2018 will mark year 3 of getting my tablet, and I can't wait to see what my art will look like in December, and this motivates me a ton!
