Through a series of flukes and coincidences, I have just discovered you. And from the brief look I had at your gallery, I'm upset that this didn't happen much earlier. What can I say beyond "wow!"? When I have more time at my disposal, I shall look through your gallery at a more leisurely pace allowing myself time to take in the breathtaking images you have immortalized.

Just thought I'd let you know, though, that you have been found by a fellow E2er, sorta. Can anyone get on the Devious Noders list? Or is it reserved for people who actually have talent (alas..)?

thanks for your comment, and wee, even a favourite!
considering the running and shooting... well, a friend of mine was trying to keep the kite calm in the air while I tried to run next to it and take pictures, 't was rather coincidence that the picture turned out like that, but hey, I'm not complaining!

Heh, according to GeoURL you live like 7 miles from me. Wow, you moved from the US to The Netherlands? Why would you do that?

Seriously, it's getting really bad here

oh almost forgot to answer your question on breakers delight. I am very new to my camera... and was just messing around with different settings... and unfortunately have no clue what setting it was but it captures movement really well.. and yes I think I used flash for this shot! As for the brightness... i just changed the degree of brightness and contrast once it was on the computer!

Hey there, "neighbor". According to the new Deviant Art geo locator thing, you are 22 miles West of me.

Not that it makes any difference. *is going around giving a shout to all those it lists for the heck of it*

Keep making art!

Thank you for the +fav on [link] , and for taking the time to look through my gallery. I truly appreciate it

I've got that image as my wallpaper at work. Someone asked me yesterday if it was glass. I told her it was smoke and I'd taken the photo in my kitchen. She got that look of "Huh?" on her face so I described it to her, showed her which one was original (the blue one), how it was blue because it was negative and that in positive it would be yellow/orange/white, the usual color of smoke. Comprehension dawns on her face. I showed her the other, explained that I'd just adjusted color levels somewhat to turn it green ... she turned to me and said, "That's effing cool."

What more praise do we need to hear than "That's effing cool" ? Hehehehe.

Sincerely, though, I'm truly grateful for the time you took to sift through my gallery. Thank you! :hug

the wheel is turning, however i believe it is about 30 minutes for it to make a full turn.

30 minutes with all of that light pollution out there is impossible without certain things which i currently don't posses.

thanks for the fav.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill

spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

hi there.
thank you for commenting on my photo.
well, actualy, you got the point. it was really more like a tourist quickly-taken photo, i don't think the guard would like it much to see me standing in front of him for a LOT of time finding the perfect angle for the photo.

On Walking light The weird thing is that the snow is actaully that color cause of the street/walkway lights. But I see what you mean.

thanks a lot for your comment on Broken Days. Actually, about the moving fan and such... I was trying to get that. It was very eerie standing out there. That windmill's fan WAS spinning, and it was spinning as fast as the old motor fan on that truck. Very weird. For some reason though, it didn't catch them both. I'd love to reshoot this and do it right... I'd love more detail around the engine. Thanks!

welcome to DA. Your first post would probably get some sort of top favorites... if anyone would look at it. Just ignore the DD though, it is more arbitrary/admin wants to get laid than it is for good art.
