I was fascinated by your plant close ups which as you scroll down your gallery reveal more and more watercolour torsos. Where do you get the models or do you use photos? You are somewhere in the UK I believe. Also you seem to have almost exactly the same equipment I have. Great stuff.

I use photos and I always get permission to use them from the original photographer. I am in Crosby just outside Liverpool to the North. I started drawing and doing digital watercolours after I had a stroke and eventually I got a Nikon d3200 swapping it for a Nikon D7200 after about 12 months because I never had to buy new lenses although a new one I bought from ebay which was a return from Amazon a Nikkor 50mmf/1.8D.

In particular I like your architecture stuff but also the musicians. I have been trying recently to do musicians here in English pubs and realise just how difficult it is to get good shots in poor light. Also it is difficult to shoot without annoying the other guests.

Oh yes, I know those issues too well. You need really good equipment to avoid lighting problems. I haven't had any real problems with guests so far, but who knows what will happen next time...

I bought a 70-200mm Lens with f2.8 all the way. Even then there is never enough light-

I haven't used a zoom lens at concerts so far. I'm always changing between my 35, 50 and 105 mm.

It is my pleasure. I also try to get good portraits like yours and I am not so happy about all the nudity showing here. Don't get me wrong, a really artistic "Akt Foto" can be very pleasing, but most of the stuff here is not very aesthetic. I really like the redhead with blue eyes and I watched your make-up tutorial for soulless creature. Great stuff.
