Yes. That is very true. A lot of the lies I refer to though are illusions of things that we are taught. "Beautiful women are tall, skinny, and flawless."
"You're weird if you've never had a boy/girl friend."
and ETC.
The more you look at what the world is feeding us, the more you realize that they are giving you lies.
I don't want a candy coated look of the world. I want the real picture. I don't want to be in denial of how our world is perfect and beautiful... I want to face the facts and own up to our faults, mistakes, and love our flaws.

For me at this moment, there isn't much I wouldn't give to be able to not face the facts.
You're right though, most of what we're fed from cradle to grave is lies, although often they're differences in perception. A banker see's money as a commodity, a homeless person see's it as a home and meal, a biker as bike parts and cocaine. Most thigs are just what they are.
Except women... women are beautiful short, tall, plump, thin, light, dark, happy, sad, you name the kind of woman and someone will find her beautiful - 'course that's just my perception. Hope ya' like DA, there's a lot of truly strange, interesting people here.
