yeah dude!!! im doing fuckin awesome, life has changed a shit ton in the past year and i sort of lost my momentum with art but i have passion again to pursue an animation degree and make short films to make statements to society, i am becoming a really educated thinker and stuff, i will be posting up a lot of my art projects from the past year really soon! 
i have alot to catch you guys up on.

oh i use an intuos5 medium it took me almost a whole year in saving up to get it! and i use photoshop cs6

I'm jealous ;n; An intuos is really expensive! And I've always wanted to use photoshop it's very professional. I don't think tools matter THAT much though. It depends..

i used a bamboo create or something prior, and it just wasnt as good. its hard to explain but with the tablet i have now i can do alot /more/ as far as the quality in the line and shading. it helps alot to have an intuos over the others as far as my opinion goes. do! keep in mind tho, if you like to draw big or small, because if you like to draw small the best size for you to get tablet wise is a size small and if you like to work big then get a medium. large i would only advise if you were in your late college years at an art school taking classes that involve digital painting or if you are just really skilled in general. one thing that i advise, is study the hell out of color theory tutorials on DA and look at a HUGE range of artists on DA and how they paint and what colors they use etc. it will help you alot i always study what is on my watch feed their line, personal color theory, shading placement, PERSPECTIVE IS MAJORLY IMPORTANT, A GOOD PERSPECTIVE NO MATTER WHAT IS A GOOD DRAWING 9/10 times reguardless of skill. that is my theory on perspective haha, just dont draw things facing Directly forward, try to get a lower angle, or a higher angle. im still studying that right now. and will be forever haha. but its seriously SO important! the best thing to do while looking at your art in specific is ask yourself "does this _____ really look like that? and if not why not" and when you find out why not, figure out how to fix it, and then fix it. one last thing, be very conscious of where certain things measure towards eatchother [link] sheldon is a really good youtube tutorial artist who helps alot all across the board with figure drawings! great studies too!
