Don't mention it.
Your interpretation of the mythical fox kitsune is beautiful and absorbing, one can't look away.
You've done an impressive job with the usage of different brush strokes to make it look out of focus at some and shockingly clear at other places (esp. the knife). Also, the colour scheme seems very befitting; the dark green, grey and blue of an old, deep forest illuminated by the ghostly, preternatural white skin of the kitsune together with its very natural-looking tails... A wonderfully striking contrast even though the colours also complement and flow into each other.
Due to the fact that the kitsune's face is mainly hidden by its shoulder, the creature's feelings in this moment, probably secons before it kills the man it holds, are left to speculation which allows the beholder a little freedom.
You've got an interesting collection of artworks, and specifically in regard to 'kitsune': Thank you for producing such a great piece.
Regards

The prints are expensive, I was only thinking a silk poster that costs no more than $10 to make.

As long as you're not distributing it. And, just hanging it in your room or place. If you plan on selling these, this will be a major issue.

No I can't make profit of someone else I would only use it under fair use only. But you should take Reservoir Dogs pics where they look as if they're walking in suits and put CamHeds on them. Similarly to this [link]
I don't think you should put violence in it, but more of a comical side with a serious note. And maybe add a lead pipe.

Sounds good, as long as you're not profiting from it. And, thanks for the input, we'll see what happens.

Heyoo! I've been good, how have you been? Still painting awesome things, I see. Are you still in school? And did you go to the LA siggraph?

I've been pretty good, can't complain.. Well.. I could but who would listen? Lol.
But thanks for the comment! Just trying to produce better stuff as each piece comes to hopefully land something.
I was actually out of school last May in '09. It's been over a year and I can't believe it. Time flies even faster when you're done with school.
As for the Siggraph, I did not go, money wise it didn't really work and I didn't feel like sorting everything out to go. Did you?
And, what about you with school? How's the deadly of pursuit of art treating you??

Oh man, don't I know it. I graduated this past May and it already feels like it's been forever.
I didn't go to Siggraph, though I did moved out to Los Angeles after graduation! Haha, right now I'm just doing a bunch of freelance work while doing an internship at a small company called SekretAgent Productions. It's pretty fun.
What have you been pursuing art-wise? Your concept drawings are fantasssstic.

Thanks alot!
Just been working on my drawing/paintings skills, for awhile after siggraph i was really going after 3D modeling and part of me still wants to focus on that.
But, I always find myself jumping back to just getting my hands in it, 3D modeling tends to feel too computery at times (if that makes sense.)
Otherwise, I'm also working on a personal video here and there, hit a snag with it, but still thinking about it.
I'm beginning to think I might just need to move out to L.A. or somewhere around there too, theres no jobs here in Chicago for concept art, and the few that are, are looking for people with more experience.
Congrats on the move and internship btw!
