love your work. I am a former exotic dancer and I was wondering how much would it cost to have you make a nude sculpture of me dancing on a stripper pole?

I've probably said it in the various comments, and now I'll say it again;
Wonderful work, your understanding of anatomy is spot on, and your ability to twist and exaggerate it is delicious.
Those strong, writhing forms fires my imagination.
Kudos.

Many thanks for your kind and thoughtful words. Looking at your last post it seems your life has taken a bit of a dip. It certainly happened to me with my work. At one time I was exhibiting in London and selling work all the time and then like the plague it all dried up. I decided I couldn't give a shit whether people liked or disliked my work and just enjoy the business of making my Art. My House is full of stuff no one has seen and I am quite OK with that. Thinking of doing some panting to get some of my ideas and fantasies out a bit quicker than My sculpture that seems to take me ages. Once againΒ thanksΒ for your comments. All the best, MikeΒ

Thanks man.
I too have a vast backlog of artwork that nobody has seen - and a head full of ideas that I have had to put aside.
Convalescence, trained professionals tell me, are of the essence. Five years of it, at least.
I promise however, I shall never stop doodling.

ruskybird In reply to Hellstroem [2014-05-14 09:13:50 +0000 UTC]

I don't do enough doodling which is a shame as it is such a quick way of expressing ideas. I do sort of doodle in clay a bit though. Keep in touch, always good to talk to other artists.

*Birthdays are special occasions and they call for special celebrations.
Let us celebrate you birthday today!
Another year older, another year wiser. Well at least we are growing up to be what you meant to be. Here's to another year of experience.
Blowing out another candle should mean that you have lived another year with joy and you had made this world a better place. Make every day of your life and every candle count.
Have a happy Bday!

I hope all your birthday dreams and wishes come true.

Hello, you have some very nice work here. Your gallery has inspired me to work in clay and bronze again. I do have six clays I've been been tinkering with for about four years now, I know it sounds pathetic but I have been busy. There is another thing that has been holding me back and perhaps you can suggest a solution. I think I bought clay that is just to soft for the level of detail I desire, and I'm just burning valuable time away refining things only to create more damage threw out the process. I guess Two steps foreword one step back.
Anyway, sorry I didn't intend to burden you with a question so I'll move on.
Like myself I see your new to DA. My understanding is you give a"llama" to someone that has art you like, so here's a llama.
Cheers, and looking foreword to seeing more of your work.

Thanks for the comments. I am flattered to think I may have inspired someone to create. Are you talking about real clay of a type of plasticine ? If it is real clay, simply let it dry out till it is firmer but obviously you do have to keep wrapping it up whilst you are not working on it. Mike
