Nah the water isn't that blue unfortunately =( (Sad) , but it was actually quite clear that day compared to how bad it normally is. I might add a link in the description to the actual picture of the river.

I use a Canon EOS Rebel XT with a 18-55mm lense and a Hoya brand r72 IR lens filter.

The trick with the 18-55mm lens is you have to be at 50mm+ to keep from getting a hotspot in your photos...something isn't right with Canon's wide angle lenses while using an IR filter.
