Been on something of a Pony kick as of lately, but also noticed that store shelves have very little My Little Pony Friendship is Magic merch left. I've seen this before when I worked retail at Toys R Us when Nickelodeon was finishing the 2012 TMNT series, to make way for Rise of the TMNT and merchandise for that show.


So, with G4 definitively ending with it's final episode sometime around fall of 2019, and G5 on the way around 2021, are we going to be seeing less and less, and eventually no MLP merchandise until G5 is released?

I believe so. Hasbro does not have much to offer for the G4 toy line, in contrast to years past, for this fall, and with this, it is highly unlikely that there will be any G4 merch in the spring of next year.

If there is any merchandise produced for the spring however, it will likely be any leftover ponies they have in their warehouses, so technically speaking not anything actually new.
