I'm in Germany still, just many changes have happened in my life. I've got a great job now, boss, in my own office in my own building. I only have one boss in the whole country and it's great not having someone looking over my shoulder. I've just recently gotten back to my artwork and trying to catch up on DA. I wonder what all you've been up to for the last couple of years...

I did indeed. I was one of two layout supervisors on the project which was split between studios in Hamburg and Toronto- I also did some location design, and drew several sequences myself.

Aww, thanks Ebony. That was like 15 years ago, but best I can remember, I did the mass grave sequence with all the cat corpses, and also designed that location. I did the layouts for the big fight to the death sequence at the end as well, though the storyboards were so good for that part that it was more just a matter of doing paste-up. Otherwise, I was layout supervisor, which meant correcting and changing scenes and sequences here and there throughout the film as need arose.

I thought the ending fight sequence was very well done. And ,I believe my favorite book series was actually based on Felidae. One of the most famous characters from it died the same was as Cloudandus.

I know I've probably said this ,but it's an honor to meet someone who worked on Felidae.

deeply flattered. We knew we were making an unusual film- just wish there were more opportunities like that one. Closest I ever came was the ren and stimpy show. Proves there's a market of people like you who want cartoons that intrigue, rather than insult. One can only wish...

they're real classics.. I'd love to have a copy of the roy rogers space gun used as the first foo fighters album art.. bet the original costs a fortune now. A fellow I worked with in LA had one of the blade runner guns- I think there were only six copies, so that thing is worth a bundle.
