Thank you for favouring Psychedelic Solarised Slate. Virtual or digital solarisation is one of the filter effects offered by Photoshop. It attempts to simulate what happens when you briefly switch a white light on in your darkroom while developing the film. It promptly ruins most pictures and can be tricky to use artistically. This early effort looks a little naive to me now. I use this effect far to much, as a search on the term 'Solarised' in our gallery will testify: [link] . Do have a llama and take a look.

Back here for a visit, first time since January, and enjoyed being here. I thought "Shady Eyes" was marvelous, and "More Colorful Staring" a beautiful addition. Your development in this style is noticeable and delightful.

That's probably my fault. The last time I was here I don't think I left a comment or message--which is very much unlike me. But I'm an ongoing visitor to more than 2300 dA galleries, and try to leave comments as much as I can. You can perhaps learn about me a bit from my journals...although please believe me I'm not really encouraging you to read them, unless you enjoy a mixture of cranky old man and aesthetic philosophy!

Well, believe it or not, I keep an active spreadsheet, tracking gallery name, artist name (when available), last date visited, and number of comments I've left. Haven't gotten more specific than that, but even so that's good enough to help me track my various adventures and journeys at dA. And I've made some nice friends in the process.
