Hi, RH here from FGE, one of the dA groups you submitted something to lately and the biggest and most active fighting game related group here on dA as well.

We have an art contest ongoing about everything Capcom with the exception of Street Fighter and Darkstalkers since everyone and his mother drew Ryu, Chun Li or Morrigan already and we like to give other not so popular games from them like Rival Schools, Star Gladiator and all their beat'em ups some spotlight!

Capcom Series Art Contest! (Jan-Feb 2014!)This year it was all about the Samurai Shodown fighting games during Januar-Februar, in 2014 it is going to be a Capcom Celebration Contest of their many Fighting Games and Beat'em Ups with the EXCEPTION of Street Fighter and Darkstalkers since both of these series have a ton of fan art already and we try to get those other games and characters in the spotlight on FGE!
The Prizes are
25€ (around 30$) OR a 12 Month deviantART Premium Account for the 1st Prize
10€ (around 13$) OR 3 Month deviantART Premium Memberships for the 2nd and 3rd winners
1 Month dA Premium Memberships for the 4th and 5th winners
Feature for all 5 winners here on FGE and on http://www.game-art-hq.com

Rules:
This contest runs from today till Friday the 28th Februar 2014
Allowed are up to 3 submissions per artist.
Not allowed is strong violence and nudity.
Redesigns are allowed, OC's are not.
Not allowed are old deviations, everything has to be made for this contest of course.

The contest goes on till the 28th Februar 2014 and just started, 5 artists can win prizes ranging from 1 to 12 month dA premium accounts for all informations and questions, take a look at the journal about it. The winners submissions will also be featured in a special journal there.

Greets Joseph, thought you might care for the big updates i am doing currently for the good old MK Tribute which got updated itself a lot in the last Months as well.

From the old goal to just get all the around 70 different Mortal Kombat drawn by different artists, i enlarged it to be about every damn design the characters ever had. Means 4 different ones for Li Mei as example and around 10 for SZ or Raiden.

Over 220 artworks were drawn now and just 43 character designs are currently not yet claimed. I hope to get this giant project finished till September /October this year.

The old articles are getting updated and today your MKDA Li Mei in her standard design was on my to-do list. Thought you might care for the [link] so there it is. If you have the interest you are welcome to participate a 2nd time in this project.

MK Tribute Rule Change / Invitation

Hiya, nearly 90 entries have been submitted since i started the MK Tribute in September 2011 with the target to get all the characters drawn and now since June 2012 even including all their different designs from MK I up to todays MK9

For now it was a rule that every artist could claim only one entry, due to the big number of designs however that decision was changed today finally.

You, and a few other artists who were chosen because they made an impressive entry already are welcome to claim one more if you want
