Which story was the one where Shadow is still a Street Punk? Like it was sort of a prequel to everything and he met Espio and Rouge and everyone. I read it a long time ago and I wanted to read it again because I loved it. But I could never remember what it was called. I could be imagining it, but I want to be sure, because it was awesome.

The story I believe you're talking about is "When It All Started." But Rouge wasn't in that story. The story that introduces Rouge is called, "By My Side."

Ah, okie done. Thank you. I really loved that one, but it's been so long since I've read it. I'm actually a bit of a writer myself, and I've been thinking of trying out some Sonic stuff with some of my own characters. Any advice on how to start?

Well I've wanted to keep with the anthropomorphic characters, because I can't imagine them as humans. My primary writing talent is in the romance genre, and I've been able to get into other genres. One idea was something to introduce at least two or three of my characters in a way that could build their stories and intertwine them with the canon characters. But I want to do it in a way that's intelligent enough so that I can use my own story then use canon game storylines in a way that makes sense.
