umm.. two years? I'm quite terrible really.. I was a pretty good beginner drummer but.. that is all. I really should be improving but haven't. =/

Before that I was the bass player, but then I found some ridiculously cheap drums and decided.. I will terrorize my neighbours and family from that day forth. And terrorize I did. haha

And as for fame, we are terrible also.. it is but a distant dream. haha. how bout you? You gals seem like a bunch of hipster musos. haha!

sigh.. I miss both actually. I lent my bass to a friend and my kit is at another mates house. On lockdown til uni ends ay.

speaking of which, I much prefer music over drawing and shit right about now. arg.. uni is killing my mojo. ahaha, hipster muso implies some sort of cool and understanding/proffiency in music. not I, missy.. not I. sadly.

I tried getting into the whole comic thing but it's just too damn expensive! and graphic novels aren't nearly as readily available online as manga and such. Though I did read Neil Gaiman's Sandman digitally. It's just not the same though.

Q,Q" ack! one of the most heart-wrenching things to hear is that someone is losing interest in art! *hearts shatters into tiny little splinter fragments* Uni really getting to you that badly?

And on a more positive note, only a few more weeks of grueling study/assignments till the real Summer holidays can begin! (OH YEAH GORILLAZ CONCERT 8D!)

..... though I've only been into comics for the past year hahaha it does certainly take a bit to get into to.... but you should give it another go!

gorillaz! I'd love to start a cartoon band. maybe I will. haha I'm studying graphic design at curtin.. assignments are beating my ass right about now. arg! haha I'm sort of glad it's not commerce though.. though more jobs would be nice. hehe

I actually did do art academically in uni for a year. it. is. terrible. Those art folks are so wanky.. so I am kinda scarred about what is art what is not. I could rant about it.. which I also happily always do, but I'll save your (digital) ears. haha

no, don't get me wrong! I love a good read.. just that time and money are not allowing it. I use to be a manga dude but now it's all about graphic novels. mmm.. I love me some Pilgrim. Yoshitaka Amano + Neil Gaiman in Dreamhunters is just beautiful. check it.

Hi, sorry about the late reply. For the process, I first did a sketch on paper then scanned it in and traced it on computer. You should be able to do something similar with the pen tool on Photoshop for smooth edges. I'm not too savvy about creating vectors on photoshop though, I'd recommend Adobe Illustrator for this sorta work. Good Luck with it!

hey, thanks for stopping by. my earlier work was mostly using mouse.. the later ones (around 2008 onwards) is with a tablet. works wonders
