Pople who are stealing art are bullied (there's no reason for someone who got their art stolen to being bullied, thought sometimes art theft will bully original artist). Well it's start rather calmly, people just informing said person that stealing is wrong and that they need to delete stuff that aren't theirs. And then there's also a lot of other people who will just send messages that aren't ok (even death threads).
It doesn't really happen in cases like yours, when person who posts other's work is sorry for that. But some pople will lie and fight back causing only more drama and it's just turning into bigger mess.
So that's why I suggest getting comments hidden after solving that problem, just to avoid the drama.
