Ben Heys passed away some weeks ago in a motorbike accident in Cambodia. This is very sad news, since he was such a brilliant photographer, a man full of plans and such a kind human being. Rest in peace!

Read up on the laws, the works are still protected to 75 years after his death. His next in kin/wife/family owns the rights now.

of course they are protected ~ the question was how to find the next of kin ~ how to find out where the assignment of rights went
