My Favorite Canine will always be the Siberian Husky I mean i'm trying not to be a poser but, they resemble something to me because I love wolves also so it must be that and that there so energetic and I always go on hikes and walks a lot alone so it would be nice after collage to get one which i should be out of High School in 2 years and Collage in 4 so 6 more years and I can finally get the dog i want. I also might become a breeder when I am older. That involves tons of science mainly Genetics. GREAT BALTO PICS TOO.

Wow! Nice gallery! Although, I'd have to say that Don Bluth (( The creator of All Dogs Go To Heaven AND Balto )) would probably be unhappy to know of your trace-work. I'd be happier to see your artwork, rather than blatant rips of these classic movies. Grow up and get some real artistic skill, kid.

Well first off I would like to say that Don Bluth is not the creator of Balto. Don Bluth was responsible for All Dogs Go To Heaven, Cliff Ruby and Elana Lesser were responsible for Balto. Bluth teneded to follow a more dark storyline, usually having an anti-hero protaganist set an example of what not to do and why. Evil is alawys readily identifiable in any of Bluth's films and it is alawys shown in a rather intense spectacle. Balto was a more upbeat kid friendly story. It focused on overcoming judgement based on outward apperances. The anagonist here wasnt truly evil but just arrogant and narcissistic. Anylitical movie comments aside, I would have to say that your comment is the nicest thing that has ever been said to me. I grew up with Balto and All Dogs Go To Heaven. They were almost like family to me, given the amount of times i watched them. Charlie became the name of my first dog, and Jenna became the name of my second dog. I have a penchant for obsessive perfectionalism (at least when it comes to drawing stuff), that is to say, if my drawings dont look almost exactly like what ive seen theyre worthless to me. Calling them "trace-work" while a blow to the fact that Ive actually drawn them, only confirms that Ive been drawing them correctly. I wouldnt call what Ive done "rips", while even though they are drawn mostly from source images they are my way of paying hommage to two of my childhood heros. If i didnt care about these characters I wouldnt waste my time trying to draw them. I appreciate your concern for my artistic skill and I agree that what little style I had is alawys lost in my headlong rush to perfect. I hope this has helped to clear things up a bit. I'm not here to offend people or try to pick fights, I only wanted to share things that were important with me, for the enjoyment of others.

Hmm..one quick question please. Who exactly do you think you are to judge people and their artwork! If you think that you're some sort of "amazing artist" who has the right to judge people and tell them they have no artistic skill your absolutly wrong!
That's actually really immature and pathetic. It's alright to offer constructive criticism such as "you could improve on this" or "I feel this needs work" but to say someone has no artistic skill and is a "trace-artist" is immature and rude. How dare you say someone has no talentyou are NOT the judge of true art so get of your high horse and get your head out of the clouds. You have no right and a lot of nerve to say something like that.
My faith in the people of deviantart has really gone done. That's really sad, thanks a lot. Your immaturity and rudeness, as well as your close-mindedness really is sad...

Nowhere in my statement did I say that I was an "amazing artist". Please, don't try and put words into my mouth. I simply don't like the fact that a lot of his artwork is HEAVILY referenced. I myself have referenced off of people before, too. But I state it if I actually post it on the web and I usually don't copy the original piece line for line. It's how we all get better but to simply copy a work is not acceptable.
You are right. I have a lot of nerve to say that, someone had to. I'm not the only one that noticed. My friend Fuchsia was the one who supplied some info about this artist.
By the way, since you seem so keen on speaking of immaturity I must not be the only one. I think it is more mature to let a person fight their own battle than to horn in. Besides that, I am sorry that you are so naive as to think I am the only person on here that could ruin it for you. I'm sure friends of Fuchsia have seen her journal and agree that his art is a joke. By the by, I never once said I was better than him. I merely said he had no talent if he had to copy -- or trace -- others artwork.
