Nah... new grandbaby. Thank goodness, though I would love to go thru raising a kid from birth again, I only have to do it half time. LOL
My daughter had a baby boy just before Christmas (he was 3 weeks early).  The joy of a little one in the house has been exhaustively fun !

Always.... maybe a little too much lately, I am sore. We went to Lake Shasta Caverns on vacation and there were 628 steps or so (with 358 of them up), then we walked across the Shasta Dam.... then we walked even more and climbed a hill to find a few geocaches, man my calves hurt for several days.

Sorry for the late reply! works been manic. Just watched a clip of The House of the Devil, looks pretty good! I'm going to try and get a copy.

I also need to get a copy of Suspiria looking forward to watching it!

totally agree with your comments about the evil dead still love watching those films now, but if they do it right could be good! and yep I have seen the Phantasm its going back a few years now though!

I watched the Grave encounters 2 the other day, the starts a bit boring and the ending aint too good but the middle bit has got some really good scenes!

Hi, that's really wired I actually watched this film about a week ago and though I will have to tell you about it! great minds!!

I did love the film, have you seen Grave Encounters that quite good as well I also watched Session.9 its quite a slow film but there was something about it I really loved! Well filmed and gets into your head, cant quite explain why! And sinister looks good! havent seen that one yet

I really like "Session 9" & have it on dvd. I don't know why I like it so much either, but I do.

"Grave Encounters" sounds familiar, but I don't seem to have the dvd here in my collection. I'll have to look out for it or ask one of my sons to download it if it's available, so thanks very much for that & also for "Sinister".

It's always good to know another horror fan who likes good horror!!

Thanks for the links, but I've got both of the "28 Days Later" movies on cd & they're not my favorites. Zombie movies aren't generally my favorite sorts of horror, but I used to get so starved for good horror that I would go down to Video Ezy & buy a whole heap. That's how I ended up watching "Dead Girl", which was....well, if you've watched it, then you'll know what it was like - a sort of masturbatory fantasy for young guys. It looked so promising in the blurb on the back too!!

It's always great to know a true horror fan & exchange movies!! Have you watched many of Dario Argento's movies? Some of them are so good, and "Suspiria" is one of my all time favorites.

Robert de Niro & Sigourney Weaver are good, but it says "psychological thriller" rather than horror, so who knows what it will be like? It could be like "Hide & Seek", which was greatly disappointing, or "The Village" - great monster, until it's revealed that it's only the mentally challenged man dressed up in a costume.

I recommend my favorite Dario Argento movie "Suspiria". It's pretty old now, but it's his greatest, in my opinion. The music by Goblin is fantastic!! "Creepers" was good too, if you like Jennifer Connelly (young), insects, Donald Pleasance (also the doctor in "Halloween") & a chimpanzee.

A remade "Evil Dead"??? Noooo!!!! They could never live up to the epic three!!! People shove CG effects in too much now & remove any sense of solidity & reality, because CG stuff kind of floats & is not frightening - my opinion only, again.

I recommend the 3 or 4 movies that make up "Phantasm" too, if you haven't already watched them. The 2nd is crap, but the others are great.

Noooooo!!! It's terrible - from what I can see on the trailer, and thank you very much for sharing that with me. There is too much fake blood & as far as I can tell, none of the humor, the black humor, the lovely, fake Deadites, and most important of all - no Bruce Campbell!! Oh, woe is me!!!! I dread to think that they will even leave out the bit where the tree rapes the girl, or the dancing skeleton, or...groan. An attempt at realism is not always best - especially when it comes to "Evil Dead"!!! (I have very strong feelings about this)

We too are having beautiful weather. IDIOT is still free and being a terror, but hopefully come May 31st all will chance, he went to court yesterday and plead guilty to one of his offenses ( the 3rd strike offense) , now his sentencing hearing is on May 31st, so we will see what happens.

This weekend, me and family are going camping and dirt bike riding. A well needed vacation.

Camping and dirt biking sounds like amazing fun! I've just been looking through your photo's you got some cool bikes looks like you all have so much fun! I'm a biker too I have a sports bike Yamaha 600, I love it..I have had to slow down a bit! I have a had a couple of close calls! I have done some dirt biking too it was a day in the woods, got about 10mins tuition then left to go wild on trial bikes, it was f*@king cool!!I loved it
