Yeah, it pisses me off when people do covers of songs, and suddenly they become famous again, and you get all the pop/punk/whatevers who are obsessed with it, and completely bastardise the song.
The original is fantastic

I really enjoy the whole facade Manson portrays, because he's squeezing money out of telling everyone to go fuck themselves. I didn't enjoy the Mechanical Animals Glam-Rock phase, but the 1930's cabaret/burlesque/german/french couture kinda thing he's going through at the moment is my most favourite... era/time/style/whatever.

LOL...I can immediatly think of a few "punk" bands that've done horrible covers.
Depeche Mode stuff from the late 80's to their Violater album are some of their best.

Speaking of Manson, I saw the funniest thing on a tv interview a few months ago...he pretty much admitted he's not a Satanist and its all part of an act. Yet his biggest fans still think his act is all real...its kinda sad really, the whole "goth" thing has gone from being about individuality to people are simply crying for attention.
