I keep trying to move away and draw other things but labyrinth just doesn't let you! Ideas spring up and wont leave you alone!! I have loads of cool ideas but I just can't draw them well enough at this point and omg is it frustrating!!! so for now, I just stick with the portraits... :P (Lick)

You are an absolutely amazing artist and your painting skills are very precise. I'm more of a cartoony person, so your art is extremely outstanding to me. You are very capable of catching the likeness of certain characters, and even in oil paintings (they look like oil) you can manage to keep control. I, myself, have attempted many times at painting and I really truly suck at it. So you have a highest regard from me! Good luck in the future and I hope you will find something in life where you can exploit your skills to their fullest extent!

Realism takes a while to get a hang of but it only really takes patience.
I find painting to be incredibly frustrating too...but at the end, when you finally get it right, it is one of the best feelings of accomplishment so I would strongly encourage you to keep trying!! I do a lot a digital art and whilst it is equally hard it is often more rewarding having the physical painting there in front of you. :D (Big Grin)

Your artwork really reminds me of my own art when I was younger. I still have pages and pages of my old stuff, maybe I should post some of it here on DA to show you. Just keep at it an you will be amazing at it in no time!!

When I was 14 my style was very similar to yours :D (Big Grin) it just depends where you want to go with your art, I liked a lot of realism so that's the direction my art eventually went :) (Smile) the more you practice the better you'll get!
