Hi again! Do you mind me asking what program you use and what kinds of brushes?  I'm still trying to learn the oil brush and watercolor brush. I find myself going back to the airbrush a lot.  
I use Art Rage 4 right now with a Wacom tablet.  Any input would help!

Hiya! I use Adobe Photoshop (been through CS5, CS6 and currently on CC, would recommend any of those versions as it's such an excellent piece of software) and also using a Wacom tablet. From there I've been able to download some excellent custom brushes for Photoshop from the deviantart community:




These are .ABR files, I'm not sure if they'd work in Art Rage as I haven't used that software. If ABR files don't work in Art Rage then maybe see if anyone has made custom brushes available to download in the same way for that software? These brushes have been a life saver for me since Photoshop's default brushes usually aren't what I need. People on here have made incredible custom brushes. Hope that helps a bit, if you have any other questions feel free to ask!

Glad to help! I've never gotten on hugely with default brushes, people on here have made such gorgeous brushes and made them available for free, which is awesome!
