Sorry, I haven't been on here in a while so I didn't respond to your comment in a timely way. I turned off the flash and held the camera at a slightly upward angle so that it didn't capture all the heads of the people that were inside (it was really quite crowded!). I wasn't using a tripod or other stabilization, just holding it as still as I could. The camera was set to "auto"--it was largely a luck shot, really.
If I were going to try to do this again, I'd definitely get there before the chapel opens, so as to avoid the crowds.

Hey! I've just been to Paris and I wanted to go to the Sainte Chapelle on the last morning, but there was a huge queue so I didn't make it. Same thing happened to me last time, I should've known better. So still no photo of the Sainte Chapelle from my side. Too bad! Thought I'd let you know!

This place is at le Sacre-Coeur. Go all the way up there, when on the stairs, turn around and face the city. That spot will be somewhere on your right. I think there is some kind of elevators right along those stairs.
