(UPDATE: I'm taking a break from DA. These days, I only really sign in to answer stock-related questions.)

Hello, and welcome to my DA page! First thing I'd like to point out is that I've been a member here since 2004. I've made comments and posted things that I now look back on with some amount of regret. (lol Ah, youth.) So I just ask that you check the date posted before casting toooo much judgement. =p However, I choose to keep this account instead of starting a new one, because I've developed some great friendships here and there are some good memories in this old account.

About me

I'm not really sure what you all would want to know about me. I'm some sort of working adult, so I don't have as much time for the internet these days. LAME.

About what I draw

I don't really consider myself to be or not be an anime/manga artist. I draw what I like and I like what I draw, and I feel like putting a label on my stuff would restrict me. But feel free to call it what you like. My art definitely started out pretty anime and has been slowly moving away from that.

You'll find a lot of fanart here, as well as some amount of original stuff. Mostly sci-fi/fantasy sort of things.

I love to experiment with various mediums, so you'll also find lots of different coloring styles. I also have a bad habit of getting bored with a medium really fast, so you may find a painting here, a photo there, and a sculpture somewhere in between. =p

Everything digital that I do is done in Photoshop (CS2). I'm by no means a Photoshop expert, but if you're new to the program and are wondering how I did anything in particular, you're welcome to ask about it.

Also, I believe in drawing people's noses with a realistic size and shape, regardless of their gender. This occasionally bothers some people.

About why I draw

I used to draw just for fun, and never really hoped to make a career out of it. But then I tried making a career out of non-art things, and it's a pretty lame life. So now I'm going to work as hard as I can to improve my drawing abilities with hopes to make money off it someday.

About me here on DA

So I'm not going to go around thanking everyone for the favs or watches all the time. It's not because I'm not grateful, (I totally am ), Just that I feel like if I'm going to flood your message center, it may as well be with something meaningful to say. I always wonder if those people who go on crazy faving sprees ever get tired of all the thank you messages...

Also, I don't really do the whole "I'll watch you if you watch me" thing. However, if you're watching me and leaving comments, then I'll most probably do the same. I love making friends here, I love talking about both my art as well as yours, and I love watching people's art grow and develop. :D (...I don't really love people who watch me and tell me I'm awesome until I watch them back, and then they never comment on my stuff ever again. mumble grumble >_<)
