Beautiful work, especially the oils on metal. I know what I see of them here must be a pale shadow to what they are in real life.

Yes, last Summer I visited Sheila Casey, Jess Gaddis and Alyssa Levy down there during their trip across country. It's a fantastic and beautiful city, with wonderful, wonderful music, and wonderful wonderful people. If you are ever there try to see the Rebirth Brass band, they are fantastic, though most of the Brass Bands, and most of the music in general is fantastic. The Bayous outside of the city are beautiful as well, and the tour Alligators are very personable. The only negative thing I have to say about the city is that it can get unbearably hot and humid.

Those little gypsies. I stopped there about a month ago; you definitely saw more of it than I caught, but it was grrreat. My faves were the voodoo shop displays and a spooky black bar cat. What are these tour Alligators? capitalized??

Sometimes when I type I capitalize arbitrarily... or maybe there is some subconscious intent to the capitalizations... I'm not sure. As for these alligators, I was on a swamp tour outside of the city. It was led by a man who professed himself to be 100% Cajun. Basically I was being specific in noting that these personable alligators are ones that see large groups of people every day, whom regularly feed them marshmallows. Alligators love marshmallows. I'm not ready to promise you that all alligators are personable... that could be a dangerous assumption to make

This is funny, because everyone in undergrad thought I was way too tight. I only started dripping in my backgrounds with the metal pieces, the first of which was the last thing I did in Undergrad.
